Bright Minds is a proud supporter this year of the Cedar Lane Horticulture Program, and this was made possible with generous support for Bright Minds from the Myers family. We invite you to learn more about this important program below and to visit “Plant Palooza” in May.

The Cedar Lane School (CLS) Horticulture Program will host “Plant Palooza” Wednesday, May 8 through Friday, May 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, 10 a.m.-2 .p.m. at the school, 11630 Scaggsville Road, Fulton.

Open to the public, the event will feature a wide variety of plants that have been cultivated by CLS students, including annual and perennial flowers, herbs, ferns, vegetable starts, succulents and houseplants. Additional goods made by CLS students also will be available.

CLS Special Education teacher Dallas Rosenthal oversees the program, which provides students opportunities to engage in a variety of activities that encourage independence, motor skills, job skills, self-regulation, language development, social collaboration and continual learning.
