Bright Minds helps children prepare for elementary school and develop an early love of reading.
Read With Me
Bright Minds is Howard County’s sponsor for Read With Me • Howard County, a school readiness program affiliated with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Each month, participating children from birth to age five receive an age-appropriate book through the mail. The program’s goal is for parents and family members to read regularly to children to develop their love of learning.
With support from Howard County government, we piloted the program during the 2018-2019 school year and were able to expand the program to children across the county this year.
