Hear From Our Volunteers

In a world where reading now seems to exist in soundbites over substance, supporting childhood literacy and education has become very important to me. I’ve been able to help Bright Minds manage its Read With Me program, which is helping children develop a love of reading and prepare for kindergarten.

Dawn W.

Retired Cyber Security Professional

While I was between IT jobs, I wanted to keep my professional skills fresh and even build some new skills if possible. I helped Bright Minds improve the quality of their data in their customer relationship management system. I was able to work around my own schedule and appreciated being able to improve Bright Minds operations.

Thian C.

IT Professional

As a Finance intern for Bright Minds, I worked on a range of research and operational projects. Right from the start, I knew this internship would help me gain exposure to many aspects of business that I would never get in a traditional classroom. The skills and experience have been really valuable during my first year of college.

Ethan W.

HCPSS Graduate

As a retired HCPSS teacher and current grandmother of HCPSS students, it was important to me to continue to support our school system and students. I’ve appreciated being able to leverage my experience and relationships to help Bright Minds bring together critical resources to support students and educators.

Clarissa E.

Retired HCPSS educator
