Bright Minds has worked since our founding to bridge the digital divide by improving technology availability and access for students
Access to Learning Fund
Bright Minds and HCPSS established the Access to Learning Fund to raise money for critical learning resources needed to support students during the extended coronavirus school closure. Thanks to widespread support from individuals, community groups, companies, and foundations, the Access to Learning Fund has raised a considerable amount to support remote learning.Funds have been used to provide internet to families without access, assistive technology for students with learning differences, essential school supply packets for thousands of elementary students, and to help with the cost of online learning subscriptions, printing, and mailing. Bright Minds takes pride in how our community has come together to ensure all Howard County public school students can connect with their teachers and schools.
