Support for JumpStart Students
JumpStart – the dual enrollment program offered in partnership between HCPSS and Howard Community College (HCC) – gives students a valuable head start in earning a college degree preparing for a career at a greatly reduced cost. Students participating in JumpStart have the opportunity to earn college credits and complete up to two years of college by the time they graduate high school.
Bright Minds helps students participate in JumpStart by covering the cost of books and fees for income-eligible students attending classes on the HCC campus. Bright Minds and HCPSS are committed to ensuring all students have the chance to take advantage of the JumpStart program.
