Bright Minds Foundation Announces Executive Director Transition: Jennifer Van Kirk to Depart After Five Years of Transformational Leadership

After five years of dedicated service, Bright Minds’ Executive Director, Jennifer Van Kirk, will be stepping away from the Foundation as she embarks on her next adventure. We are truly grateful for all she has poured into this organization and into the students and families we serve.

During her tenure, Van Kirk led the expansion of Bright Minds’ programs, deepened relationships throughout the Howard County community, and increased opportunities for students to learn, grow, and thrive. Her steadfast commitment to educational equity and access has made a lasting difference for students, families, and the broader school system.

As Van Kirk prepares for her transition, the Board of Directors has launched a search for the organization’s next Executive Director. The Foundation is seeking a leader who shares its commitment to ensuring every student in Howard County has the resources and opportunities necessary to succeed.
