We are thrilled to have Nicole Anderson join the Board of Directors at Bright Minds!
Nicole Anderson serves as the Director of Communications at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, where she leads strategic communications for this nationally recognized organization that creates safe, supportive, and enriching environments for young people—particularly those who need it most—during out-of-school hours. Nicole’s work supports the organization’s core mission to help all youth reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Anderson brings a wealth of communications experience from her previous roles, including Strategic Communications Manager at TEKsystems and Director of Communications at Severn School. At Severn, she successfully increased student enrollment, strengthened fundraising efforts, and deepened alumni engagement through compelling storytelling and integrated marketing.
As a new board member for Bright Minds Foundation, Anderson brings both professional expertise and a personal passion for education. Her background in nonprofit communications and marketing, combined with her experience as a parent of one current and two future HCPSS students at St. John’s Lane Elementary School, makes her a valuable addition to the Foundation’s work to expand educational support, resources, opportunities across Howard County.
“I strongly believe in Bright Minds Foundation’s mission,” says Anderson. “Every student deserves access to the resources they need to succeed, and I’m excited to help strengthen our community engagement and support Howard County students.”
